Nolan Wells' family has a memorial fund here, if you're able to give.
Some stories end with an answer. Some just end, and the family is left holding the silence where the answer should have been. This one is for them, and for the names that came before, the ones that got a candle, a headline, and then quiet.
🎵 NEW: "Who's Still Counting?" — Watch the Video
Who's Still Counting? isn't a satire track. It doesn't claim to know what happened to anyone. It just asks the question a lot of families are still asking long after everyone else has moved on.

The full track is streaming now at whiskeyleaksmusic.org. It's also in the archive at our on-demand page whenever you want to sit with it again.
Why This Song?
Every so often a family loses someone under circumstances nobody can quite explain, and the official version arrives faster than the real one ever will. "No evidence of wrongdoing" and "we looked into it thoroughly" get treated like the same sentence. They aren't. The gap between them is where a lot of mothers have been left standing, and that gap has a long history in this country that not everyone is in a hurry to talk about.
We're not investigators. We don't know what happened, and we're not claiming to. We just know what it sounds like when someone is still asking, long after the news cycle has decided it's done asking with them.

This one isn't satire. It's written for a family still waiting on the truth. If it helps even one more person say his name, it did its job.
