Qatar granted permanent military presence in Idaho
We demand answers. We demand to know what Qatar has on Donald Trump!

Well, well, folks, it looks like President Trump is really shaking things up—by turning America into the ultimate Airbnb for foreign militaries. This time, the crowned jewel is Qatar, that charming little emirate where sharia law holds sway but hey, who’s counting? Because apparently, what’s more important than American sovereignty is sharing our precious Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho with the Qatari Emiri Air Force. Because who doesn’t want some extra foreign F-15s flying overhead while they’re enjoying their morning coffee?
Now, sure, Qatar has a reputation for, shall we say, “strict” legal and cultural policies at home, but that’s obviously no big deal when you’re cozying up to the Trump administration. I mean, why worry about a foreign government tolerating sharia law when you’re busy signing executive orders pledging to defend their sovereignty against anyone who dares to threaten them? Sovereignty, shmovereignty—let’s just hand over some of our military real estate and call it a win.
And hey, remember that spiffy Boeing 747-8 luxury jetliner Qatar gifted to Mr. Trump? No conflict of interest there, right? Just a little gesture of goodwill—nothing fishy about accepting state-of-the-art presidential planes from a country with questionable human rights record. What could possibly go wrong?
So, while the U.S. military quietly hosts Qatari pilots training alongside our troops on American soil, one has to wonder: where exactly does American sovereignty fit into this new Middle East-inspired hospitality program? But I guess that question is moot when you’re busy securing peace deals and making sure the presidential fleet looks extra fabulous.
All in all, it’s just classic Trump diplomacy—bold, unconventional, and maybe a little baffling. But hey, as long as the F-15s keep flying, who cares if America’s bases become an international playground?
